Captivating Capiz

Capiz is one of the Philippines provinces located at Visayan region. It is known for being a haven of super natural creatures such as aswang. But for those who do not know what capiz really is let me introduce to you our province. Capiz is a place where you can experience enough luxury of pure Filipino custom. Captivating Capiz is the seafood capital of the Philippines. The Capital city of Capiz is Roxas City located at the north eastern part of Panay island. Capiz owes natural beauty. It dwells in charm that is why tourism industry of the province still manage to escalate. A lot of occasion and festivities are being celebrated by Capiznon’s. Such as feast of Our lady of Immaculate Conception, Grand dancing parade, procession, Fire works display, live bands, beauty pageants, sport competition, games and a lot of more are being held at the city place of the province every year. The first president of the Philippine Republic which is Manuel Acuña Roxas was born in Capiz on 1892. The capital city of Capiz is named after the president of Capiz contains many tourist spots.

          Nowadays, we can’t deny the fact that every move we make there is a corresponding money being spent. Before, if you have  5 pesos it seems like you can buy everything you want, because at that time 5 centavos can buy something like a piece of candy or a piece of paper but now   even your 1 peso  is not enough to buy just a piece of candy. In today’s society, its  very obvious that everyone wants to have a job in order for  them to live and that’s  true,  the people’s of today’s generation is being practical due to different crisis  that we are experiencing right now.  But with those issues today we should not forget or neglect the fact that not everything in this world is for sale. There are certain things that money can’t buy and these are the gift of God almighty that showered upon us , it includes our intellectual, spiritual, emotional and social aspects in life. Each and every one of us are possessing  this gift  but there is only one great gift that he also gave us and I can say that no one have the right to take it away from us, I am referring to the lives of every individual in this world. He lend it to us and if the right time will come he have the right to take it away from us. Simple Logic

 

            Right now, we are experiencing different problems and most of us think that the only solution for this is money – the most important thing in this world. Today money makes us temporarily happy, but the truth is that we will be much happier if the gift of God given to us be used in many good ways, and use it according to his will. In this simple way, we will be able to feel the true meaning of contentment and happiness that money can’t provide us. Honestly speaking money makes me happy because I  was able to buy everything I want, but not the things I really  need like love, respect, faith, hope can’t afford to buy the what we called “EVERLASTING  LIFE” – the most important thing I need that only God almighty can give.

            The adventurous person is the person who needs  challenging activities and sports like mountain climbing, sea diving, and many more because they have a  self-confidence self discipline and trust in their  self. Adventurous person refer to a person that likes or interested in adventure. For me the most Adventurous person is Dale Abenojar, because he claims to be the first Filipino to climb the mount Everest. He defeated some of the foreigners who challenge him to climb in the mount Everest. He was a wise person because he was on the Tibet side of Everest, while the others were on the Nepal side that’s why he was the most adventurous person for me.   

Aetas in the Roxas City

The Aetas

  when I was walking in the Roxas Avenue I have seen people that slept in the outside of the bank, department store,  and bread store. They don’t have a permanent address. The Aeta’s  are considered to be Negritos, because they have dark skinned, short in terms of height,  kinky haired, snub nosed, and with big black eyes. Some of them are selling a medicines to the people so that they can buy food for their family. The medicine of the Aeta’s are effective because it comes from a living animals such as snakes, sea horse, big lizard and many more that can heal or cure your wound, sickness and many more. That’s why many of the Filipino people buy their medicine. Some of the Aetas are in the outside of the church, department store and drugstore asking for a coin so that they can buy  food for atleast 2 times a day.
